Uncle Ray was a very special man, he loved his family, he worked hard, he would preach like there was no tomorrow. How gifted he was! God was his leader, his faith never faltered, He was also very good to everyone!! He used to tell me that I was his favorite great niece, but then when he saw Stacy Faulkner he would tell her the same! I know that one day, (soon), we will all be together again. Praise the LORD!!!!

We are all heartbroken to hear of Ray’s passing. For the past 50 years, Ray has been an amazing neighbor to our family. He never hesitated to lend a hand when help was needed and most of the time without ever being asked. We can remember several snowy winters when he would suddenly appear in our driveway and start plowing away the snow. Long before we had pavement on Sleepy Creek we would on occasion find ourselves “stuck in the ditch” and he would come to rescue with his tractor. After our father passed away, he made himself available to help in any way that he could and we have always been very grateful for his kindness. He was truly one in a million and he will be missed, not only for his acts of kindness but for his steadfast faith in God and how served as an example of God’s love.

We want to extend our deepest sympathy to Kathy, Tammy and Earl and their families. Please do not hesitate to let us know how we can serve you in this time of sorrow.

O Kathy, I am so very sorry to learn of your dad's passing. He was such a wonderful man, and a good friend to my Dad, Dallas Morrison. May the Lord comfort you and give you peace.

Our deepest sympathy .... We were so sorry to hear of Ray's passing. We loved seeing him each fall when he came up north to coon hunt. Our boys always enjoyed tagging along with Ray hunting. We will truly miss him!
