Wesley Browning

Wesley Branham Browning, age 46, of Lenore, West Virginia, passed away on 2/6/2026 after a short illness.

Wesley was a kind and gentle soul with a generous heart. He lived a simple life, often on his own and at times on the streets, but he never lost his capacity to care deeply for others. Those who knew Wesley remember him as loving, soft-spoken, grateful, and giving, even when he had very little himself. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dinah Gail (Branham) Browning.

He is survived by his father, Teddy Browning and his loving sisters, Angie (Rodney) Wright of Hurricane, WV, and Andrea (Josh) Johnson of Charleston, WV; his nephews, Branham Harrison, Jayce Wright, and Tre Harrison; and his niece, Jodi Wright.

Wesley will be remembered for his huge heart, his quiet strength, and the love he carried for his family throughout his life.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
