Timothy Scott Davis

Timothy Scott Davis, 57, of Branchland, WV, went home April 28, 2019, to walk the streets of gold.Tim was the husband of Lana L. Davis, who celebrated 38 years of marriage.  Lana was Tim’s Baby. He was born in Kanawha County.  He was the son of the late Edgar L. Davis and Rebecca “Imogene” Erwin Davis.  Tim graduated from Hurricane High School in 1980 and went to work in the oil and gas field for the next 38 years. Tim was a member of Gods House of Prayer where he was a deacon. Tim enjoyed squirrel hunting with special friends, Sid Rayburn, Dannie Adkins and Brad Setliff and coon hunting with Shawn Bowman and Dusty Gillenwater. He will be remembered for his love of the Lord, his family and his job. 

Tim is survived by his spouse, Lana L. Davis; daughters, Jessica Riley (Mike), Megan Suttle (Paul) and a granddaughter who he helped raise for seven years, Lola Davis; grandchildren, Codey, Daylan, Elisa, Marc, Ami and Mindie Riley, Brittany, Paul and Dixie Suttle; honorary grandchildren, Jacob Pickens, Natiley “Red” Abshire and Ben and Kynlee; sisters, Tami Tenney (Dave) and Shelva Chandler, five step-sisters and brother, Greg Davis; special sister-in-law, Linda Scarberry; host of nieces and nephews, Kelly “Baby” Finster and Jennifer ; nephews, Jason Davis, Jonathan Bird, Travis and Tyler Hunt, John Aaron, Allen, Scott, Sonja, Butch, Tommy, Kim Sheets and Ethan. Special Friends:  Rodney Kirby, Wondell and Kay Wright, Mark Davis, Kyle Garretson, Brenda Hunt (Kenny), friends at Rivers Edge Campground; Paul and Peggy Suttle, Brad and Sue Setliff, Charlene, Boo and Teresa Riley, Jeff and Laresa Riley, friends of Buffalo Youth and High School Wrestling Teams and Buffalo High Football and Youth Football Teams – GO BISONS!  Funeral services will be held May 1, 2019, at 1 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, with Pastor Wondell Wright and Rev.
