Thomas Jefferson Boster

Thomas (TJ) Jefferson Boster, 89, of Hurricane, West Virginia, went home to his Lord & Savior on Wednesday, April 7, 2026. He was born on December 28, 1936 in Culloden, West Virginia to the late James Herman Boster and Ruby Helen (Bowles) Boster, TJ was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. He loved to spend time with his family, to read and fish, and enjoyed quiet solitude. TJ was preceded in death by his parents, brother Brennis (BG) Golden Boster and Son-in-law Eddie Blount (Kris). He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ann (Bird) Boster, Sister Betty Richler (Ric), two sons Jeff (Sandy) and Steve (Debbie) Boster and daughter, Kris Blount, seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. TJ was known for his kind and gentle spirit along with a solid contentment with life. He retired from Rhone Poulenc in 1999.

Visitation will be at Allen Funeral Home from 11:00 till Noon on Saturday, April 11, 2026 followed by a short graveside service at Mt. Olive Cemetery with Rev. Vernon Wallace officiating.
