Russell Lee Mercer

Mr. Russell Lee Mercer, son of the late Henry C. And Ensell Caldwell Mercer, born February 10, 1935 on the family farm, passed away peacefully at home on February 22,2025.

Russell graduated Hurricane High School, class of 1953, and retired from US Steele Chemical.  His other full time job, which he enjoyed most, was farming. 

Russell, is survived by the love of his life of 63 years, Judy Wood Mercer. They were married Christmas Eve 1961. He is also survived by son, David and wife, Crissi, grandchildren, Eric and Cortney, and great grandchildren.

At his request there will be no service, and his remains will be scattered on the family farm, where he enjoyed being, at a later date.
