Ruby C Sergent

 Ruby Charline Sergent; age 90; born on July 4,1934 in Winifrede, West Virginia sadly left us on August 16, 2024 in Howell, Michigan.

Ruby loved to love on people.  She crocheted hats, scarfs, purses, and baby blankets for everyone until she was no longer  able.

Ruby was a 30 year employee of Charleston Area Medical Center   as an Operating Room Technician, in Charleston, West Virginia. She was a longtime member of the Hurricane Church of  Christ in Hurricane, West Virginia. After moving to Michigan she attended Cornerstone EPC in Brighton.

Ruby leaves behind her daughters Connie Davis and Debra (Todd) Bachman, 9 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clate Sergent, her sons Richard Keith Ellis and Philip Nolan Ellis and her parents Harry and Madeline (Weaver) Alderman.

A celebration of Life will be held at Cornerstone EPC, 9455 Hilton Road, Brighton, Michigan  48114, September 14: Visitation 10 am, Service 11 am, Luncheon to follow.

Ruby will be interred at Green Cemetery in her beloved West Virginia.
