Robert Glenn Young

Robert Glenn Young, 67 years old, of Charlotte, NC - formerly of Hurricane, WV - unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. 

Born in Hamlin, WV on May 30, 1954 and he graduated from Hurricane High School class of 1972. Anyone that knew Robert, knows of the overwhelming love he had for life and his friends and family. As stated perfectly by a friend, he made every person smile that crossed his path. 

Preceded in death by his father, Sherrile Lee Young, and nephew, Robert Campbell. 

He is survived by his mother, Hattie Holliday (Maynard). Four daughters, Meagen Young (Justin), Courtney Young, Nolan Dobson (Drew), and Journey Young.

Three sisters, Carol Mullins (Bill), Donna Holley (Bill), and Treasa Campbell (Neil). Four Grandsons, Bailey, Kaden, Dawson, and Weston. Special nieces and nephews Michael, Melissa, Adam, Dennis, Gina, Cheryl, and Joshua. Along with very close friends Reggie Clark and Nicole Atwell. 

Robert will be missed immensely by his family and friends, but his memory will stay bright through all that knew him.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12 til 1 prior to the service.
