Richard “Rick” Rectenwald

Richard Allen Rectenwald, 65, of Culloden, WV passed away after a long illness, August 6, 2023. He was preceded in death by his first-born son Christopher Rectenwald, Father Alfred “Al” Rectenwald, and sister Suzie (Nomar) Rectenwald. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Rectenwald, sister, Evie Williams both of St. Albans, Sons, Andrew (Krystal) Rectenwald of Hurricane, Thomas Rectenwald of Winfield, Ben Rectenwald of Ashland, KY, three grandchildren: Arianna, Nathaniel, and Emma Grace; Three Ex wives he remained friends with until his passing, Barbara Qualls, Jane Gordon, and Kandi Rectenwald.

Rick was a retired diesel mechanic of 40 years. He was an avid motorcycle rider/racer throughout the years. After retirement he still loved working on vehicles, motorcycles and four wheelers. Rick was outgoing and always cracking jokes, enjoyed traveling and spending time at Holden Beach, NC.

Per Ricks request, he will be cremated, and a memorial service will follow at a later date.
