Rachel Allen Obituary

Rachel J. Allen, 91 of Hurricane, passed away September 5, 2018. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Pearl J. Allen of 68 years. They are reunited in heaven rejoicing together. They were members of Grace Baptist Temple, St. Albans, where she sang in the choir and in a lady trio for many years at Grace Baptist Temple and many other churches and revival meetings around the region.

Rachel is survived by her son, Randy Allen, daughter Linda Spurlock and son-in-law Gary Spurlock all of Hurricane; Grandson’s Ryan Miller (Brittany Cannon) of Sandyville, WV; Alex Allen of Tallahassee, Florida, Cameron Allen of Hurricane; great-grand daughters Baylee, Anna, Cassie, Emily and Marlee.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane with Rev. Brian Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Hurricane. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 prior to the service.
