Peggy (Underwood) Sowards

Peggy Louise Sowards, 87, of Culloden, WV, passed away peacefully June 7th 2024, in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was preceded in death by her parents; Lewis and Louise Underwood; husband Charles Sowards. She was survived by two sons JB Browning (Sue) of Culloden, Malcolm Sowards of Culloden; Grandkids; Andrea Nibert (Dave) of Milton, Cody Browning (Destiny) of Hurricane, Chris Sowards (Andrea) of Culloden. Great Grandchildren; Halen, Jalen, Michael, Bristol, Bentley, Ellie. Special friend Jerry Mitchell. Special thank you to her caretakers Kandy Finley, Annette Faulkner and Kathy Roberts. Peggy enjoyed her time in the outdoors, spending time with her friends and family, and always strived to put her relationship with God first.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Monday, June 10, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Jonah Dillon officiating. Burial will follow in The family cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 til 1 prior to the service at Allen Funeral Home.
