Patricia Jean (Faulkner) Drake

Patricia Jean Drake, born November 17, 1933, went to her heavenly home on September 5, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Eula Faulkner. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 66 years Clyde W. Drake and brother Robert E. Faulkner.

Jean, as she was known, was very active in her life. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hurricane where she was involved in the choir for many years, was an avid seamstress who made several items with the Sew and Grow Circle, a former Cub Scout Den Mother, and let’s not forget her talent of being a wonderful cook. Left to cherish her memory are her sister Janet (Francis) Miller, her sons, Mark Drake of Kanawha City, Keith (Terry) Drake of Hurricane, Gerald (Karen) Drake of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tim (Cindy) Drake of Hurricane, and Paul (Nancy) Drake of St. Peters, MO. 11 grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to thank the nurses and staff of Rolling Meadows Assisted Living for their watch care and seeing to her comfort.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 12 till 1 prior to the service.
