Myrtle Rumbaugh, 98, of Hurricane died on March 18 at Rolling Meadows Assisted Living, Scott Depot, WV. She was born July 1, 1923 to Karl & Margaret (Kerr) Rumbaugh. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Hurricane, and a retiree of Union Carbide.
She was preceeded in death by brothers Lloyd (Thelma), Luther (Bernice), Dudley (Virginia), and Alvin (Phylis), and by twin sister Myrdith (John) Macleery, and sisters Martha (Phil) Smith, and Elizabeth (Ballard) Davis.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews.
A private grave-side service was held at Mt. Vernon Cemetery, in Teays Valley.
