Miranda Rae (Legg) Scheer

Miranda Rae Scheer, 42, of Hurricane, WV, went to Heaven September 14, 2021 after battling cancer for the past 4 years.

Miranda was born on January 9, 1979. She was a loving wife and mother. She played piano and sang in church from her youth until her passing. She loved laugh, to cook, to read, to crochet, to travel, to try different cuisines, to spend time with family and friends, and enjoyed anything British. Her greatest joy was being a mother to her three children.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Peter; her three children, Jacob (Brianna), Caleb, and Liberty; her parents Geary and Barbara Legg; her brothers Christopher (Leisa), and Benjamin (Stephanie); her nephews Trenton, Isaac, Dylan, and Jackson; her niece Annabelle, and many other family and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 19th from 2 til 4 at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane, WV. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 20th at 1pm at the First Missionary Baptist Church of Culloden, WV with Pastor Claude Spurlock officiating.  (Pro 31:10) Who can find a virtuous woman?
