Mildred Hinkley

Mildred A. Hinkley (Adkins), 94 of Culloden, WV went to sleep in Jesus on June 27, 2026, after a long illness. She was a 1950 graduate of Hurricane High School and the Homecoming Queen. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church for 61years.

She was a Sabbath school teacher and deaconess.

Mildred is survived by her brother, George V. Adkins; son, Ernie Michael Hinkley (Virginia Irene); daughter, Beverly Dickerson (Steven) of Ky, and daughter Stephanie Stone (Samuel) of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emery Ernie Hinkley; son, Steven E. Hinkley; daughter, Susan A. Hinkley; and grandson Steven Michael Hinkley. Mildred had 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. Mildred was much loved and will be greatly missed.
