Michelle Dawn Riddle

Michelle Dawn Riddle, 48 of Hurricane, WV, was born on November 13, 1974 and received her “Perfect Heavenly Heart” on Friday June 30, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH surrounded by her family. Michelle was proceeded in death by her maternal grandparents Rena and Charles Priddy and parental grandparents Charles and Gracie Riddle. Michelle was the fiancé of William Burden (Hurricane), daughter of Patty Casto (Billy) of Culloden and the late Gary (Carolyn) Riddle of Belle. She was the mother of Brooklyn Morris (Michael) of Hurricane, sister of Jimmy Riddle (Amy) of Hurricane, half sister to Lisa Nicholson (Brandon) of Bancroft, sister-in-law to Brandy Sowards (Jody) of Milton, daughter-in-law of Bill Burden and the late Jean Burden of Hurricane, aunt to Rachel (Caleb) Torman, Breanna Blackburn (Eric), Logan Riddle, Brayden Nicholson, Ezra Nicholson, Gunner Torman, Cody Burden (Taylor) and Brogan Sowards. She was also the mother to her two boxer dogs Tucker and Diesel. Michelle had been a devoted employee at Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry in Hurricane for 17 years. Michelle had courageously fought a heart condition all of her life and her strong faith in God got her through the toughest of journeys. She had received a heart transplant at Cleveland Clinic on February 21, 2023 from a wonderful and caring team of doctors and nurses. Michelle was a loving and caring friend to many as well as an inspirer, fighter, encourager and giver. She loved being around friends and family, loving on her two boxers, camping, and going on ‘wild’ adventures with William.

Friends and family may visit Allen Funeral Home on Thursday, July 6, 2023 from 11-1 pm with funeral at 1pm. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please make donations in honor of Michelle Riddle to the American Heart Association @ www.heart.org.
