On November 26, 2025 after a few ER visits and a hospital stay she went home. She leaves behind her husband of 35 years, Gary Smith, Her children Randall Adkins of Huntington, Wanda Thomasson of Winfield and Jarrett Adkins of Hurricane, 3 step sons Doug, Greg, and Brian Smith of Culloden, 2 sisters Eunice (Jim) Flinner of St. Albans and Barbara Plumley of Hurricane. She will be deaply missed by all that knew her.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Monday, December 8, 2025 at Allen Funeral Home and burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 til 1 prior to the service.
