Mary Catherine Williams-Isner, 78, of Hurricane, WV, passed away peacefully on November 16th, 2025.
Mary was born March 7, 1947, in Charleston, WV, the daughter of George Miller, Antionette Williams-Thaxton and John and Goldie Williams. She was a graduate of Charleston Catholic High School, then went on to be a nursing assistant at Kanawha Valley Hospital.
In 1974 Mary and her family moved to Hurricane, WV. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hurricane, WV. One of her greatest joys was being a member of the choir. Her favorite hobby was bowling, dedicating 25 years to the sport. She had bowled a few perfect games and was once featured on WSAZ News for this accomplishment.
Mary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She took great joy in spending time with her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, unconditional love, and quiet strength.
Mary is survived by her children: Diane Isner-Henson, Karen Isner, Deborah (Denver) Isner, William (Jaime) Isner Jr, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, surviving brother John Thaxton. She was proceeded in death by her parents, siblings, granddaughter Danielle May, Son In-Law Joseph Henson and the father of her children William B. Isner Sr.
Visitation will be held December 6th at 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane, WV, followed by a funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Mark Miller officiating. Private interment will be at Valley View Memorial Park Hurricane, WV.
Friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on December 6th.
