Marshall Pullins Hanger, 69, of Hurricane, passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, after a long-fought battle with cancer. He was in the U.S. Marine Corps with 10 years of service. He was a retired bus driver for Putnam County Schools. He was preceded in death by his parents Lee (Red) an Edith Hanger, Everette (Hodge) Pullins, siblings, sisters Tommy Adkins, Donna Pullins and brother Kenny Pullins.
He is survived by his wife Melody, mother Pauline Pullins, daughters Korri (Ryan) Powers, Leona Hanger, stepdaughter, Danielle Utt, stepson Stephen Michael Sowards, sisters Flora Lee Francis, Carolyn Studyvin, Debra (Doug) Barker, Grace (Bill) Ore, Susan Dickens, brothers, Roger Pullins and Sidney (Tina) Pullins. Grandchildren, Audrey Hanger, Joey Rhodes II, Ivy Rhodes, Lilah Rhodes, Peyton Sowards, and great granddaughter, Hadley Bird.
A celebration of life will be from 6 til 8 on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home Hurricane, WV
