Lora Denny

Lora Miller Denny 58, of Hurricane, WV passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025 after a short battle with Pancreatic Cancer.  Lora fought the good fight and is now resting with the Angels above.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, James “Lee” Denny Jr., children Amber Riley (Craig) of Bridgeport, WV, Dylan Denny of Hurricane, WV and Cassandra WilliamsonDailey (Evan) of Hurricane, WV.  Also surviving are parentsCarla Alberts, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, Richard and Ruth Miller of Dunbar, WV, sister and dear friend Sherry McMillon of Dunbar, WV, nieces Morgan Reed (Alex) and Haley McMillon, four special grandchildren Evie, Jack, Lydia & Alaina along with her two four legged boys – Max and Bentley. 

Lora loved her family fiercely, that love extended to both her friends and community.  She enjoyed traveling, shopping and celebrating life.  Her positivity, high energy and love will not be forgotten.  

Services will be held at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane, WV, Thursday, June 12.  Visitation starting at 12:00 p.m. with funeral immediately to follow.
