Linda Kay Erwin

Linda Kay Erwin, 74, of Hurricane passed away January 5, 2019 from dementia at Putnam Center in Hurricane. Linda had lived all her life on Poplar Fork Road in Winfield taking care of her parents until their deaths, she later moved to Willow Tree Apartments in Hurricane until the dementia took her down. Linda was a graduate of Hurricane High School, she was a member of Adda Baptist Church and retired from Georges Cleaners in Hurricane where she worked 40 years.

Linda is survived by brothers Roger (Mona), Michael and Stephen Erwin (Rita Martin) all of Hurricane and sister Darlene Martin of Culloden, several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents Elvin and Freda Meadows Erwin, grandparents Rosevelt and Marietta Meadows and Pearl and Carrie Erwin and sister Lucy Erwin Gibson.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Wray officiating. Burial will follow in Holley Cemetery, Hurricane. Visitation will be from 12 til 1 prior to the service at Allen Funeral Home. The family would like to thank all the staff at Putnam Center and Hospice for the love and care during her illness.
