Julia C (Shepard) Greene

Julia Shepard Greene, 93, of Scott Depot passed away at home Friday, January 21, 2022 after a long illness.

She was preceded in death by her husband Clark Greene whom she met while working in the PX while Clark was in the Marine Corps at Camp Lejeune, NC. She was also preceded in death by her parents Benson and Lula Shepard and siblings Ebony, Eugenia, Elmer and J.D.

She is survived by her children, Yvonne (John) Payne, Carol (Steve) Briscoe, Janet Briscoe, Jeff Greene, Julie (Dan) Sovine, Linda (Tony) Johnson. Grandchildren, Christopher, Steve, David, Rene, Marie, Lisa, Jacob, Anthony, Kelly and Jason and 18 great grandchildren. Special thanks to her loving caregiver Sonjia Tyler.  

Funeral service will be 11:00 Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Valley View Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 til 11:00 prior to the service.
