Judy Eileen (Cunningham) Stricklen

Judy Eileen Stricklen, 80, of Hurricane, WV, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at St. Mary’s Medical Center after an extended illness.

Born in Vancouver Washington and formerly of Elkview, she was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frank and Thelma Cunningham; her daughter, Little Judy; and her brother, Franklyn Cunningham.

Judy was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who found joy in her family and faith. She is survived by her daughter Katreni Chapman (Matthew) of Fraziers Bottom; sons Allen Stricklen (Sarah) of Elkview and John Stricklen (Penny) of Hurricane. She was a proud grandmother to Chrystal (Chris), Glen (Angele), Cole, and Lilly, and great-grandmother to Brantley and Bella.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at the Stricklen Family Cemetery, Elkview Frame Road. Friends and family may visit from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane.
