Judy Faye (Jinks) Ferrell

After a long battle with dementia, the tiny but mighty Judy Faye Jinks Ferrell, 71, of Hurricane, WV went to be with her Heavenly Father on September 24, 2023. Judy is proceeded in death by her parents, Earl and Clara Jinks, as well as her siblings, Elsie Hensley and Eddie Jinks. She leaves behind her faithful and loving husband of 52 years, Les Ferrell, siblings Mary Rooper and Shirley Anderson, and her three boys Bobby (Michelle), Robert (Amber) and Tony (Julie) Ferrell as well as her sweet dog Gracie. Judy was known as Mamaw to 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren: Chelsea (Jeff) and Peyton, Haiden and Carter, Josh (Meredith), Camrie and Maddie, Hannah (Nick), Cash and Eli, Brandon (Jessica) and Jeremiah, Brooke (Micheal), Anthony, Hailey, Molly, Nicholas, Emanuel, Emmett, and Euan.

Judy was known as a fighter. After an incident in her childhood, she was not expected to make it into adulthood. Not only did she surpass that expectation, she fought and beat lung cancer and battled dementia till the very end. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be missed dearly. The family would like to thank Hubbard Hospice House for their care and support.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Wednesday, September 27, 2023, at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hesson officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 til 1 prior to the service on Wednesday.
