Joe Joseph Perrock

Joe J Perrock, Sr., 86, of Hurricane, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on February 17, 2022, following a long illness. Joe was born in St. Albans, WV on May 23, 1935, to Albert Perrock and Lola Mae Spencer Perrock.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 54 years, Lola Ann Perrock, and their sons Joe J Perrock, Jr.(Amy) and Brian K. Perrock, 4 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Lillian Cobb (Joe), brother-in-law, Lewis A.Wood (Priscilla), and brother-in-law, Paul Stowers. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sister; many friends and relatives; and his three dogs, Sno, Little One and Sassy.

Joe enjoyed gospel music, especially the McKamey’s and listening to gospel messages.  He was an avid flea market goer and made many old-timer friends there. He enjoyed NASCAR, NFL football, hunting, golf and Jeopardy.  He was a weighmaster for Union Carbide Corporation – DOW, South Charleston retiring with 26 years of service.
