Janice Imogene Clark, Beloved mother, grandmother, and retired Putnam County School bus driver, passed away on March 22, 2024, at the age of 96.
Born on March 19, 1928, Janice leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.
Janice is preceded by her parents Yeoman Wade and Arvella Wade of Hurricane, WV. Her daughter, Faye (Doneff) Quentrill and her son Tony Doneff. Also, her brothers , Rexall Wade and Dexall Wade.
She is survived by her sons, Calvin Smith, Terry Chapman, Roger Doneff and Alan Doneff as well as her daughter Doris Maynard and a brother Roger (Jimmy) Wade. She was a cherished grandmother to several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Janice also had many nieces and nephews.
Throughout her life, Janice touched the hearts of many as she safely transported generations of children to and from school.
In her spare time from work she always enjoyed her family, fishing and hunting. The family would like to extend special thanks to Angie Smith for her dedicated support and care during Janice’s final months. Janice’s presence will be deeply missed but her memory will forever live on inn the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane, WV. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park.
