James A. Edwards

James A. Edwards, 89, of Culloden, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 after a short illness. He was retired from Union Carbide as a welder with 35 years of service, a Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. and Sunday School Superintendent and Teacher at Trace Fork Missionary Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents Author and May Edwards and sisters Ethel Williams and Pauline Hall.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years Polly Edwards and daughters Judy Edwards Woodall and Jill Edwards Gilbert, grandson Johnathan Edward Woodall and sister Janet Adkins.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Friday, October 5, 2018 at Trace Fork Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Trace Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the Church.
