Ida Faye Thacker, 87 originally from Hurricane, WV passed on November 29th, 2022.

Wife and mother, she enjoyed music, concerts, watching the birds, entering contests and observing all that was going on around her.  Ida Faye loved Pepsi, pumpkin pie, coffee and recently iced lattes. Going out to dinner and trying new things occasionally, she even tried sushi, most of it came home along with the creamer and the sauce packets.

Ida Faye is survived by her son James “Jimbo” (Julie), her daughter Dona Jones (Danny) and Grandson Jason Jones, sister Gay McCallister (Sonny) and brother Tommy Hodges.  Preceded in death by her husband James Thacker and brothers Roy Lee Hodges, George Vernon Hodges, Warren Ray Hodges.
