Herman Clinton Tabor

Heman Clinton Tabor, born December 4, 1944, went to be with his Heavenly Father on February 9, 2022. Hermon lived and proudly raised his boys on Turkey Creek located in Hurricane, WV. He was currently residing at Genesis Healthcare located in Teays Valley, WV.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sherry Elain Tabor, and by his loving parents, Alva and Rosa Tabor.

He leaves behind his family: Aaron and Tarish Tabor of Hamlin, Kirt and Lynn Tabor of Nitro, WV and Travis Tabor of Hurricane, W; his granddaughters, Quinlyn “Baby Q” Tabor of Hamlin, WV and Taylor “Sissy” Barnett of Hurricane, WV; and his grandsons, Richard “Tanner” Tabor of Florida and Thomas Kelly also of Florida.

His family would like to extend a Special Thanks to Genesis HealthCare of Teays Valley for the amazing care and attention they had shown during his long-term stay; always giving the care and attention he desired, from the front desk to the last person, our family can’t thank you enough.

In addition, to Angie Hamrick for always getting him motivated and helping him achieve the best life possible and going far above and beyond what was ever expected, to you thank you.

Finally, to CAMC Teays Valley Hospital, their ICU and Palliative Care Team, for the attention, support, and care you have always shown to our father and family, we say thank you.

Graveside Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
