Floyd "Lloyd" Rice

Floyd “Lloyd” Rice, 85, of Griffithsville, WV went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 21, 2022 after a short illness.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Luther and Lennie Rice, son, Russell, siblings, Wilma, Donnie Lee, and Lewis, and one granddaughter.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Rice; children, Wanda (Clifford) Hanshaw, William “Bill” (Arzella) Rice, Brenda (Earl) Sovine, Jeff Rice, Alice (Manny Franco) Rice, Luther “Bub” Rice, Kyle (Mischele) Rice, Eddie (Beth) Rice, and Steve (Laura) Rice; 15 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, one Great Great Grandson; siblings, Wade, Dale, Johnnie, Lorena “Sis”.

Funeral Service will be 1: 00 Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at Allen Funeral Home with Pastor Lafe Meade officiating, Burial will follow in Sycamore Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 1 prior to the service.
