Elizabeth Mae Theodore

Elizabeth Mae Theodore, 85 of Hurricane WV, previously of Garrett County MD, was called home by the angels on Dec. 27, 2023.

She was born in Deer Park MD to the late Loring Green and Marie (Tasker) Green on April 27, 1938. As a wife of a career Marine, she traveled the country and overseas, living in many different places, but over the mountain was always home. In later years, she retired from Sears as a credit analyst. She loved books and could sit for hours puzzling.

As she joins her parents and three sisters, Edith Cooper, Lillian Tasker, Louise Rodeheaver in heaven, she leaves behind those who mourn her loss and cherish her memory. Her Husband of almost 64 years, Nicholas Theodore, Sons Rodney Hardesty (Nida), Nicholas Theodore JR (Gail), and daughter Lisa Theodore (Bill) and special puppy Crissy, sister Ellanorah Mayle (Vince) and brother Sheridan Green (Carol) several Grandchildren, many special Nieces and Nephews.

Visitation will be from 4:30pm to 6:30 pm on Tuesday, Jan 2, 2024 at Newman Funeral Home in Oakland MD. The funeral will take place on Wednesday Jan 3 2024 at 1:00 pm at Kurtz Chapel, with a one-hour visitation prior to the service. God willing and the weather holds there will be a grave side service at the Tasker Cemetery after the funeral.
