Dianna Lynn (Leadman) Chapman

Dianna Lynn Chapman, 75, passed away from this world on the morning of December 8th, 2024 after a long illness. 

She was a lifelong resident of Hurricane, WV and was married to her husband, Evert, for 54 years. Dianna loved to travel and spend time with her family and friends. She especially loved watching and supporting her great nieces and nephews in their various sports activities.

 Dianna was preceded in death by her parents, Donzie and Verda Leadman, in-laws Claude and Helen Chapman, brother in law, Rick Chaney, and sister in law, Barbara Leadman, and brother in law, Dennis Dean.

 Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Evert Chapman, sister, Devonna Chaney of Hurricane, WV, brother, Roger Leadman of Midlothian, Va, sister in laws, Jo Ellen Dean- Wagoner (Sonny) of Pinch, WV and Debbie Chapman (Angela) of Charleston, WV. Nieces, Heather (Tyson) Miller, Leigh Ann (Sam) O’Dell, Marnie Leadman, Hillary Dean and Carly Dean, nephews, Scott Leadman and Noah Jeffries. Dianna adored her great nieces and nephews, Grace (Christian) Steadman, Seth Phillips, Carson O’Dell, Parker O’Dell, Peyton Crouch, and Kayleigh Miller.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, December 12th at 12pm at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane, WV. Visitation will be held from 11am-12pm, burial following at Valley View Memorial Cemetery in Hurricane, WV. 

 In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hubbard Hospice House West at WVU Thomas Hospital.
