Darrell Young

Darrell Ray Young 78 of Hurricane Passed away Friday, September 20, 2024.

Born May 29, 1946 to the late James (Doc) and Elsie Young.

Darrell was a lifelong resident of the area and a successful businessman and longtime farmer. He was also a member of Adda Baptist Church.

Darrell was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, David (Ruth) Young, Patty Wilcoxen and a infant Baby.

Darrell is survived by his wife Mary Ann and their children Christie Carlson (Jason), Darrell Ray Young II, Jason Young and Andrea Campbell (Dustin).  Grandchildren: Aiden, Kinlee, Makensie, Makayla, Savanna, Jocelyn (JJ), Chance and Silas.

Darrell also leaves behind a brother C. Dale Young (Joyce) and sister June Thompson.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2024 at Allen Funeral Home with Paul Tuemler officiating.

Visitation with family and friends will be Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
