Darrell Gene Harris

Darrell Gene Harris, of Hurricane Born July 23, 1951 passed away at his home February 2, 2023. Darrell was the son of the late Carl and Macil Harris. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 50 years, Jane Harris, Brother Sherrill Harris and Sister Linda Fry. Daughter Charlotte Shepherd (Arnold) of Layland, WV grandson Chad Shepherd (Nicole) of Piney View, WV great granddaughter Jada and great grandson Tyler. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Paul Harris, Larry Harris, Mary Hughes and Rosetta Ward. Darrell served as a US Marine for 2 years and a coal miner for 20 years. He loved to Fish, Hunt and spend time with his family and friends. There will be no services. Darrell will spend his eternal life at Layland Cemetery, Layland, WV
