Dale "Gene" Eugene Grant

Dale “Gene” Eugene Grant, 70 of Red House, WV passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Hospice, CAMC Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife of 34 years, Peggy and parents, mother, Alberta Whitt Call and father, Dale Grant. He is also preceded in death by his siblings, Clifford, Carl. Karrie, Dave, Larry, Sissy and Joseph Grant, also great-grandchildren, Chase and Ava.

Gene was a mechanic alongside his brothers and uncle at Luke’s Chevron in Hurricane, for 30 years of service.  

Gene is survived by his daughter, Lori Covert (Jeff) of Red House, step-daughter, Kimberly of Hurricane. He is also survived by, grandchildren, Andrew of Nitro, Samantha, Whitney, Chance and Brooke, all of Red House; great-grandchildren, Levi, Eli, Jake, and Willow, all of Red House; and brothers, Eddie Grant (Paulette), Tim Call (Marjory) of Hurricane, Mike and Ron Grant of California.

Funeral services will be at Allen’s Funeral Home, Hurricane, WV on Wednesday, May 25th, 2022 at 11:00a.m. with Pastor Michael Wray officiating, Burial will follow at Grant Family Cemetery, Winfield, WV. Visitation will be from 10 til 11 prior to the service.
