Cynthia Ann (Pauley) High, 65, of Hurricane, WV, passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 surrounded by her family after a long illness.
She was born on August 25, 1958 in Madison, WV. She is the daughter of the late Reverend Leo Dale Pauley and Molly Faye (Epling) Pauley.
Cindy started her career as a talented florist at age 18. She had an incredible gift of making everyone feel loved and safe. Always quick to help others out and lend an ear to anyone that needed to be heard. She was the epitome of a selfless and resilient mother, wife and friend. She loved all of her family fiercely and without condition. Her dedication to her family was the source of her happiness and this dedication was the source of theirs.
Survivors include her husband Stephen Blaine High; sons Matthew (Laura) and Todd (Shannon) High; Sister Jennifer (Brent) Bublitz; brothers Rick (Sharron) and Danny (Drema) Pauley; Nephews Christopher (Perri) Pauley, Luke (Vera) and Jake (Anna) Bublitz, Ryan (Sarah) and Eric (Kait) Pauley and Adam (Rebecca) Bragg; Nieces Chelsea (Nate) Mannon, Jessica Pauley and Andrea (Brian) Silhanek. Along with many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Visitation will be held at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane on Thursday September 7th from 5-7 pm Funeral will held at Forrest Burdette Methodist Church on Friday September 8th at 11 am. All are welcome.
