Chris Alan Weddington

Chris Alan Weddington, 59, of Hurricane, went to be with the Lord on November 11, 2025 after an extended illness.

He was a graduate of Hurricane High School Class of 1984 and Employee of Sleepy Hollow Golf Club.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, John "Bud" Weddington, and his mother, Ruby L. Weddington.

He is survived by his son CJ Weddington, sister, Karen (Rick) Bennett, brothers, Ron (Sandy) Weddington, and Tim (Jennifer) Weddington, all of Hurricane, and several nieces and nephews.

Chris will be remembered for his quick and funny wit, his love of nature, and the joy he brought into the lives of those around him. His legacy of love and kindness will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Following Chris’s wishes there will be no services. He will be deeply missed and remembered.
