Billie Ray Trimble 82 of Hurricane WV went home to be with the lord on June 24, 2023 after a short illness. Billie was born in Madison WV and spent his childhood in Man.
He was preceded in death by his parents Millard and Clefa Trimble.
Billie retired after serving 22 years in the U.S. Army and he also retired from SMC Electrical.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Helen. One son Tim (Jan) Trimble. A brother and sister Marshall Brown and Sally Obrien both of Kansas.
3 Grandchildren, Timothy Trimble Seth and Jacob Lewis.
3 great grandchildren Waylon, Matix and Declan. And a host of many more family and friends.
Billie enjoyed anything outdoors including working in his garden, fishing, woodworking and even watching his western movies. He was an avid football fan and even played fast pitch softball and flag football in Ethiopia. Billie made many trips to Africa and even to many other countries.
Funeral service will be 12 noon Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Allen Funeral Home in Hurricane with Claude Spurlock officiating the burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park Hurricane.
