Beverly C Racer

Beverly Carol Gilkerson Racer, 75, of Winfield, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St Mary’s Hospital after an extended illness. She was retired from Putnam County Schools with 40 years of service. She was a graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, Concord College and COGS.

She is survived by her daughters, Leah (Brian) Minshall of Hurricane and Theresa (James) Racer of Hurricane Grandchildren Ryan Minshall and Luke Racer Brother Eugene Gilkerson of Beckley and several nieces and nephews and her beloved pet Moeka.

Funeral service will be 7:00 Thursday September 29, 2022, at Allen Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 til 7 prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donation may be made to Putnam Animal Shelter.
