84 Years Old
Barbara Jean Kennedy, 84, of Hurricane, WV died peacefully on May 10, 2023 surrounded by family.
She is survived by her loving husband Darele, devoted children Deanna Bradley (James) and Michael Kennedy (Sherry), and beloved grandchildren Keri Kennedy (Caleb), Eric Kennedy, and Taylor Bradley.
Barbara was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Hurricane, West Virginia.
Her gentle wisdom expressed in words of encouragement, love of family and friends (especially children), and sustaining faith will continue to inspire.
Funeral service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) 1930 Winchester Avenue, Ashland KY with Rev. Jacque Compton and Rev. Deanna Bradley officiating. Visitation will be 1:00pm-2:00pm prior to service. Burial at Ashland Cemetery will follow service.
Pallbearers are James Bradley, Taylor Bradley, C.J. Hinkle, Caleb Kennedy, Eric Kennedy, and David Ratliff. Honorary pallbearer is Kyle McCoy.
