Arden Ray Hodges

Arden R. Hodges, age 86, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024. He was from and lived most of his life in Hurricane, WV. He retired from Columbia Gas Transmission where he spent most of his career as Director of State Government Affairs after serving as Director of Personnel for the WV Civil Service System. He was a graduate of Hurricane High School and WV State College. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis R. and Nettie E. Hodges. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy (Mark) Mangano of Chester, WV, and son, Charles Hodges of Hurricane, WV; granddaughters, Jennifer and Christen Mangano; sister, Nancy (Jim) Tolley and nephews, Brad (Aaron) Tolley and Jeff (Debbie) Tolley. In honoring his wishes, there will be a graveside service for immediate family.
