Velma Ruth Johnson

Velma Ruth Johnson, 86 formerly of Teays Valley passed away on November 29, 2017

She was born April 4, 1931 in Guyandotte, WV.  She and Donald Johnson had two sons Garold Johnson & Dwayne Johnson whom preceded her in death.   She is survived by her daughter Ruth Johnson Knowles, 3 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, one sister Shirley Jean Stocks of Florida, and brother Harold Anderson of Virginia.

Velma Ruth retired from the State of WV, where she worked as a Public Health Nurse.  She resided in florida near her daughter and grandchildren.

 She was a life-long member of the Church of God, primarily attended the Teays Valley Church of God.

Visitation will be 6 til 8 on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home and a Graveside service at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday December 6, 2017 at Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
