Robert "Frank" Franklin Shirkey

Robert “Frank” Shirkey, 76, of Culloden WV passed away unexpectedly on January 23, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents Edith and Joe Shirkey and siblings John, Charles, Richard, Mary and Nina Shirkey. Frank had a life long career in management serving both the Convenience and Grocery Store business. He served in the U S Army and he was an avid NASCAR, Cleveland Browns and Marshall fan and enjoyed spending time on the ball fields watching his children, grandchildren and many nieces and nephews play sports. He was the loving Husband of Jan Shirkey and Father of Ben (Leigh) Shirkey and Margie (Davy) White, Grandfather of Raegan Copley and Abby White, Brother to George (Virginia) Shirkey, David (Pat) Shirkey, Bud (Kim) Shirkey, Flossie Adkins, Carolyn (Rich) Myhrwold, Dottie Arbaugh, Nancy Meadows and Sharon Clagg and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m.  Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park Milton. Visitation will be from 6 til 8 on Saturday at Allen Funeral Home.
