Robert "Bob" Matthew Harris

Robert “Bob” Matthew Harris, 69, of Hurricane formerly of Sutton, WV passed away July 28, 2018 at Charleston Hubbard House. Bob graduated from Sutton High School in 1967.  He attended West Virginia University and graduated from Glenville State College with a degree in History.  Bob spent his career in the construction of highways, roads and bridges.  He finished his career with Triton Construction.  Bob was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman. 

 He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernie and Catherine Harris.  He is survived by his loving wife and childhood sweetheart, Mary Joe Harris; daughter, Mary Catherine Doalson (Charles) of Asheville, NC; brother, James A. Harris of Clarksburg and several nephews, nieces, cousins and host of friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home.  A private burial will follow in Sutton, WV.
