Rickie Archel Edwards

Rickie Archel Edwards, 64, of Hurricane, WV passed away at his home after a long illness. He was a 1972 graduate of Hurricane High School and retired from Union Carbide. He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents Sam and Edna Edwards and paternal grandparents, Pell and Edith Hodges and by his birth mother Elozine Edwards Johnson and father Eugene Hodges, brother Ray Edwards and sister Inez Bird. He is survived by his ex-wife, Sharon Edwards Hedrick, brother and sister in law David and Kay Edwards a niece and several nephews and Buffy, his cat.  Funeral service will be 12 noon on Friday, January 5, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
