Phyllis A. Kennedy

Phyllis Ann Kennedy 69 of Nitro went to be with the lord on Wednesday August 15, 2018 after a long battle with cancer.

She was a member of the Hurricane First Baptist Church, Graduate of Hurricane High School class of 1966. She was preceded in death by her father William E. Bennett and child Stacy Michelle Kennedy.  

She is survived by her Son Melvin (Kelli) Kennedy III, and daughter Cheryl (Bobby) Harper Grandchildren Alexis Kennedy and Nick Stover Step Grandchildren Jake Harper and Cole Harper. Mother Helen Brown Bennett, sisters Peggy Carden, Connie (Scott) Henderson, Vickie (Stevie) Farrow and Mary Ramsey and Brother William “JR” E. Bennett.

Funeral service will be 12:00 Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Davenport officiating, Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
