Maynard Lee Schoolcraft

Maynard Lee Schoolcraft, 74 of Hurricane went to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 surrounded by his loving family in Hock Family Pavilion in Durham NC.  He was born in Greenbriar County WV in 1943 to the late Adam and Francis Schoolcraft. Also preceded in death by sisters Edna, Maggie, Beulah, Brothers Eugene, junior, Donald and William.  Retired from Jarrett Aim Printing in Charleston and later ran a bait and tackle business for many years. He was a member and Deacon of First Baptist Church Hurricane and was an avid golfer and outdoorsman.

He is survived by his wife Becky of 29 years. Children Daughter Ann (Kris) Schoolcraft. Stepson David (Carrie) Lee. Grandchildren Tyler Lee, Elizabeth Lee and Amelie Clifford. Brothers Johnny Schoolcraft and Jimmy Schoolcraft and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 3:00 Saturday, December 2, 2017 at First Baptist church of Hurricane with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating Visitation will be from 1 til 3 prior to the service. Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park in Dunbar on Monday December 4, 2017 at 11:00.
