Lula M Taylor

Lula M. Taylor, 87, of Hurricane went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.

She was born in Milton to the late Charles and Martillie Morrison on January 19, 1931 and married Jay Douglas Taylor in 1961. She attended Hurricane First Baptist Church and Good Shepard Baptist Church in Teays Valley. Along with her husband Jay and his brother Dalton they were prominent Home Builders building many of the homes in Hurricane area.

She is survived by two sons Alvin Lee Taylor Sr. and Charles Del Taylor both of Hurricane, two grandchildren Alvin Lee Taylor Jr. and Michael David Taylor, great grandson Cayden Michael Taylor and one Sister Missouri Queen of Milton.

Funeral service will be 12 noon on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Losh officiating. Burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Please visit allenfuneralhomewv.com to share memories and condolences.
