Julia Etta (Saunders) LeGrand

Julia Etta Saunders LeGrand 91, of Hurricane, WV entered Heaven’s Gates on Sunday, October 1, 2017, at Teays Valley Hospital after a brief illness.  She was born January 31, 1926, to the late Frank W. Saunders and Gestel M. Davis Stuck Saunders Noble.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Lee LeGrand, siblings Noel and William Stuck, Betty Saunders Legg, Carol Noble Pugh, grandson Anthony Clark, great grandson Kelly Ammons, great great granddaughter Riley Johnson and sons-in-law Jack Buzzard and Alford Morris, Sr.

She is survived by her husband Roosevelt Holley and brother Vandel (Arlene) Noble; daughters Sandra Sue Morris of Hope Mills, NC, Anna (Sam) Buzzard of Hurricane; sons Roger (Karen) LeGrand, of Lesage, WV and Ronnie (Sharon) LeGrand of Buckhannon, WV.

She was a loving and devoted mother, she was also a MaMa and grandmother to Connie, Terry, Annette, Alfred Jr., Lisa, Tracie, Andy, Jamie and Keri.  She has 24 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church of Culloden.

Friends and family may call on Tuesday October 3, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. at Allen Funeral Home, Hurricane, WV.  Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev Claude Spurlock officiating.  Burial to follow in Forest Memorial Cemetery, Milton, WV
