Herman "Butch" F Chapman

Herman F. “Butch” Chapman 71 of Hurricane, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 in CAMC Teays Valley after a long illness. Butch was self-employed in construction and served proudly in the US Navy during Vietnam and stationed on the USS Iwo Jima. Member of Milton  American  Legion Post 139

 He was preceded in death by his parents James and Elizabeth Chapman and daughter Elizabeth “Beth”, brother Jimmy and sister Phyllis Robinson.

He is survived by his sisters Frances “T.A.” Fallecker of St. Albans and Judy Latham of Nahunta, GA., several nieces and nephews and special friends Charles and Linda Plumley.

Funeral service will be 1:00 Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Park. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Milton VFW 9796 or the Diabetes foundation.
