Everette Carter Jr.

Everette Carter Jr, 89, of Hurricane, passed away peacefully December 10, 2018 at Hubbard Hospice House West with his family by his side. He was a 1949 graduate of Milton High School and longtime business partner of Carters Market in Hurricane. He was a member of the Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church and Putnam Masonic Lodge 139 A.F.& A.M.  He was preceded in death by his parents Everette and Nancy Carter, sister Helen Carter Edwards and brother Bernard Carter.

He is survived by his wife Thelma Clark Carter and daughters Pamela and Keith Smith of Hurricane and Teresa and Karl of Fletcher of San Carlos California 

A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Forrest Burdette United Methodist Church with Pastor Ellis Conley officiating and burial will follow in Valley View Memorial Park.
